Maintaining proper strength and flexibility will often help alleviate
and prevent orthopaedic injuries of the shoulder, specifically the
rotator cuff muscles and the muscsles around your shoulder blade.
Below are some exercises and stretches for the shoulder that may
help.
Range of Motion Exercises

Keep palm of hand against doorframe, elbow
bent at 90 degrees, and keep elbow by your side. Turn body
from fixed hand until a stretch is felt. Hold 5-10 seconds.

Supporting body weight with other hand on
table, reach out in front of you. Pull arm back, pinching
shoulder blades together.

|
|
Holding light weight, raise arm toward ceiling.
Keep elbow bent and in at side.
